Behind the Bag: Snow White Classic Collection

Have you seen our new Snow White collection? It brings this special Disney tale to life with gorgeous in-house artwork and special details like 3D bows and quilted velvet. Included are a mini backpack, card holder, tote bag (which is a revamp of our original Snow White tote!), and velvet belt bag.

“This collection was so fun to work on! It's timeless, charming, and really elegant. As the designer behind this collection, I wanted to incorporate layered appliques to add dimension to the scene. I also had the idea to have the plush tufted velvet to elevate the whole collection, which our product development team pulled off so well! It feels like a fabric Snow White would actually wear. 

“The backpack design is really telling a story here. You'll see subtle references to additional characters in the background of these appliques that help tell the story. The color palette of this collection was carefully curated—I leaned towards cool blues, teals, and jewel-toned reds, which I personally love as a slight spin off of the classic reds, yellows, and blues we usually see. This feels a bit more upscale as a result. The decision to add the bow-shaped handle on top to echo Snow White’s headband really pulls everything together for me and makes it stand out from other bags! 

“For the Quilted Velvet Tote Bag, we took heavy inspiration from the original Loungefly Snow White tote bag, and upleveled it with these rich materials and techniques. The applique featuring Snow White holding a bird amidst woodland creatures creates a captivating visual. It's super functional and super cute at the same time! 

“The belt bag is such a fun addition as well. We wanted a classic piece with a trendy twist, and we definitely accomplished that! The 3D bow is the main focus, and we kept the red quilted velvet which feels and looks so good! 

“My focus as the designer and artist for this collection was to help conceptualize and create a timeless collection that stands out. I think that with the combination of the attention to detail our team has, and the incredible, innovative use of materials with new and revamped styles, this collection was a success! We hope that you love the collection as much as we all loved creating it for you!”
